I never cease to be grateful for my daughter. She amazes me every day. Yesterday she had an interview printed, from words she had thought about and sent herself to the journalist.
    It is awesome xxxxx

today I am grateful for having Buddhism in my life. Yesterday it was 3 years ago since I walked into the Buddhist centre in Ipswich and had not left the house on my own for about 3 months. I was having 50 – 100 seizures a day and scared to be on my own. Now I am more confident and seizures happen a lot less!! I am grateful Buddhism has taught me to let of all those anxious thoughts that sometimes overwhelm my mind.

Today I am so grateful to be heading off on retreat tomorrow for a week. It is a retreat that has been shortened from 2 weeks in order to let carers avail themselves of it – a wonderful opportunity. I will be back on 30th and will not be posting again till then unfortunately but look forward to coming back to this on the final day of May. 🙂

I am grateful to be staying at home this evening. Although I enjoy going out, I also enjoy staying home and being quiet

Today our community library held a large book sale, and later, in another part of town, there was an estate sale where even more books were being sold. I am thankful that I was able to attend both. Whether old or new, hardcover or paperback, regardless of the subject matter, books are wonderful to discover and uncover and to bring into one’s home to read and reread and to look upon. I am grateful that the feeling of curiosity and excitement I get when I pick up a “new” book is still as compelling as when I was young.

Yes to all the wonderful gratitudes here today – buddhism does indeed create a space in ones body and mindto allow help in, so that is wonderful to hear. And all the other gratitudes am rather greedy today in relishing all the thoughtfulness that goes into making a daily commitment. The books yes yes – I have been giving away many in recent time, having unloaded my book shelves for painting to discover some I haven’t read yet, some I don’t need to cherish – so they have gone to grateful homes. So thank you all today

Today I am grateful for the new grandson who arrived safely on the 22dn May. He and mother are well, Dad and big sister is delighted – and so is this grandmother! 🙂

I”m grateful for the existence of books. They rescued me from a very lonely childhood and are still wonderful sources of inspiration and entertainment.

I am thankful that my car passed inspection today after getting a new catalytic converter. I inherited it from my mother, and it now has only 40,000 original miles on it even though it’s a 1992 model.

An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers
